Tregenna Castle hotel overlooks the world famous town St Ives in Cornwall and is an incredible venue to celebrate a wedding. There are extensive grounds, something like 74 acres, including beautifull woods and a walled tropical garden. The views from Tregenna are stunning – you can see right across St Ives bay to Gwithian beach and there’s a marvellous view of St Ives from the hotel.
The hotel is spacious inside so in the event of bad weather there is lots of space to shoot plenty of wedding photographs. The food, which I have sampled on numerous occasions, is good and there are 2 main rooms for wedding ceremonies. The Trelawney room is for larger weddings and the Godrevy room is suited to smaller weddings. In addition you can get married outside.
